AWA & PEACH Partnership

AWA is excited to announce 2 recipients of a joint funding initiative between AWA & PEACH.  

RDA Murray Mandurah - $20,000

RDA Murray Mandurah (Riding for the disabled) is dedicated to providing horse riding and carriage driving for people living with disabilities and special needs in the Peel Region. They currently have approximately 100 clients whose lives they enrich with the help of their dedicated volunteers. 

The $20,000 was used towards the purchase of a new mini bus to help clients get to and from their services.

Quambie Park - $19,690

Quambie Park is nestled within the township of Waroona, WA. They provide the highest level of care to their clients in their residential facility, independent living units and home care services. The residential facility includes a wing for those suffering from dementia and other mental health illnesses. 

The funding provided by PEACH and AWA has helped Quambie Park purchase much needed equipment for their facility.
